The causes of failure in laptop hard drives are identical to those in normal sized hard drives. The only difference being that the components are of a smaller scale, and so require special tools to perform the recovery procedures. We have the equipment to work with laptop hard drives.

Nowadays most laptops allow the hard disk to be removed from the case by opening a cover. If you are not confident performing this we are happy to help/receive the entire laptop.
